 When
does the meter reading take place ?
Once each four months
in urban area and each six months in rural area.

Meter self reading :
If you are absent at the date of the meter reading
by STEG agent, you may proceed to a self meter
reading and transmit the figures to your district.
if you are always absent from home the day of
meter reading, you should fix an appointment with
the district to allow at least one meter reading
per year.
