The extension of LPG factory in Gabes
In 2009 the national production of LPG reached a total of 118,5 KTM.
Production STEG of products LPG in 2009 recorded an evolution of 22% compared to the year 2008 which is explained in particular by the entry in effective exploitation of new factory LPG and the increase of 44% of the load of condensed taken delivery of with factory LPG of Gabès and this in spite of 8 days a programmed stop of new unit LPG for the lifting of the points of reserve.
The national consumption of LPG in 2009 recorded a fall of more than 12% compared to 2008 due primarily to the fall: imports of 19% and production of the STIR of 10%, and this in spite of the rise of the production of the STEG of 23%.
