The diversity of the gaz supply sources, which requires the promotion of the exploitation and the reinforcement of the transmission network of natural gas, on the national level and on the level of inter-connections with Maghrebian and European network.
The promotion of electricity generation based upon Combined Cycle plants, which is the most economic solution considering natural gas competitiveness compared to fuels, mainly in terms of availability and price.
Beside the traditional use, new ones are being introduced, such as co-generation, air-conditioning and NVG (Natural Gas Vehicle), which will retain the attention of various operators and will have a place of choice in the future.
